Description: 

Works under this Contract include:  
• Removal and disposal of existing filter media from the six (6) existing manganese greensand pressure filters.  
• Internal inspection of filter vessels, underdrain systems, distributors, nozzles, strainers, and associated internal components.   
• Optional work includes replacement of damaged or fouled components within the pressure filter.    
• Replacement of anthracite, greensand plus, torpedo sand and gravel in the six (6) pressure filters, completed sequentially to maintain potable water production.   
• Chlorination and bacterial testing of pressure filters.   
• Inspection and completion of any optional work identified in the tender documents and confirmed during filter inspection.
