Construction of a two-storey new Family Services Building 655.8m2 (7,059ft2) in gross floor area. The Family Services Building consists of a central entrance area, a larger gathering area and commercial kitchen, as well as a 2-storey wing of offices. The gathering area has a feature timber structure and roof, and the building office wing is light wood-frame construction with wood trusses. The entire structure is supported by concrete slab on grade with concrete foundations and footings down to frost depth. The Work also includes site works including new asphalt parking stalls and access, and exterior concrete walks. 

Additionally, the Work includes the demolition of 2 existing buildings, old fire hall and two-storey detached residence, as well as a shed. Refer to Civil drawing for size of buildings. Refer to Hazmat reports in Appendix B for hazardous building material removal required prior to demolition
